Vail Health Receives Three Press Ganey Human Experience Awards for 2025
Emergency Department ranks in top three EDs nationally for all of 2022-2024
Vail Health has once again been nationally recognized by Press Ganey with the prestigious 2025 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® in two separate patient care categories for incredible dedication and commitment to providing excellent care every day and embracing continuous improvement in their patient experience work. The Vail Health Emergency Department and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) were 2025 Press Ganey HX Guardian of Excellence Award® winners. It marks the sixth consecutive year the Emergency Department has received this award.The Emergency Department was also recognized with the elite Press Ganey HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award®, which recognizes the top three emergency departments for all of 2022-2024. The Vail Health Emergency Department was recognized specifically for being ranked so highly for staff working together, overall rating of patient care during their ED visit, and likelihood of recommending the Vail Health ED.

Presented by Press Ganey, the global leader in healthcare experience solutions and services, these awards are part of their annual ranking of the top hospitals and health systems in the country, according to performance in patient experience.
