At Shaw Cancer Center, patients are not alone on their journey. Our Survivorship Program offers support services to address the issues of cancer treatment to help patients, families, and loved ones understand and better cope with the challenges of the disease.

These classes help prepare new and returning parents for childbirth, labor, delivery, breastfeeding, baby care and integration into the family. Please register for childbirth classes by the beginning of your third trimester and at least one week before the class begins. Our classes are limited in size and often fill up.

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action that focuses on educating the public about the vital steps to help save a life to empower them to take action in a bleeding emergency. 

Be the difference and save a life! Anyone can learn to save a life. Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventative death and this short course teaches bystanders three quick actions to take until first responders arrive. Join our team and learn to save a life of a family member, friend or someone you might not even know.
