Vail Health is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community. Through our Community Giving Program, we partner with local organizations in Eagle and Summit Counties on initiatives that align with our mission to elevate health and wellness in our mountain community. Funding support for new and ongoing programs must also align with our Community Health Needs Assessment priority areas.
Please note, not all requests will be funded.

Vail Health Community Giving Program
Who Can Apply?
Our giving program supports non-profit 501c3 organizations and educational institutions that serve residents within Eagle and Summit County. Eligible projects and programs should demonstrate a clear benefit to our community’s health, behavioral health, health education, or access to healthcare services.
Program Focus Areas
While we strive to accommodate as many program requests as possible, we must prioritize our resources based on the following criteria:
We understand that unexpected needs may arise throughout the year. While we'll do our best to accommodate, funding for these requests will depend on the availability of resources. Non-profit organizations may apply for funding only once per fiscal year, which runs from January to December.
The Vail Health Community Giving Program prioritizes direct programs that benefit the entire local community and meet the criteria above rather than conferences, symposiums, fundraising dinners, or sporting events.
- Supports the Vail Health mission of “Elevating Health Across our Mountain Communities.”
- Enhances community health outcomes in alignment with our community's health needs assessment.
- Promotes equitable care, education or wellness for diverse or underserved populations.
- Supports health and wellness for our most vulnerable members of our community.
