Vail Pharmacy accepts multiple insurance plans. We also accept prescription transfers from other pharmacies - in state or out of state - and will take telephone prescriptions from out-of-state doctors. In addition, we sell assorted orthopaedic braces and crutches, specialty products like Burt's Bees and JOBST, and we rent wheelchairs.

The Eagle County Sheriff's Office, Vail Police Department, Eagle County Household Hazardous Waste Facility and Eagle River Water & Sanitation District partner with Vail Health to ensure the safe disposal of prescription and non-prescription drugs. This helps keep people and pets safe from intentional misuse of medicines or accidental poisoning, reduces the amount of drugs in wastewater and also helps to protect our watershed.
 
Bring items to Vail Pharmacy in Vail Health or Edwards Pharmacy in Shaw Cancer Center. Show the container to a staff member to make sure the item is acceptable for disposal, and deposit the container into the designated medication disposal unit. Pharmacy staff can determine if an item is "controlled," which means it cannot be collected without law enforcement.
