Pulmonary Care

Please call (970) 476-1110 for questions or to schedule an appointment.

Vail Health’s pulmonology program offers services in Vail Health Hospital and in the Dillon Health Center (see Vail Health Hospital location information below). Highlighted pulmonary offerings include bronchoscopies at Vail Health, in-clinic spirometry testing and diagnostic six-minute walks. Many of these services are not typically available in a small rural community like ours, but Vail Health believes in offering health care services where our residents live, work and play.

The pulmonology program is led by Dr. Joseph Forrester and Dr. Chakradhar Kotaru from Critical Care & Pulmonary Consultants, with the support of three additional physicians to ensure a full rotation of services.

Both physicians are board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, sleep medicine and critical care. Dr. Forrester will be seeing patients in our Vail office once a month and in our Dillon Health Center once a month. Dr. Kotaru will also be seeing patients in our Vail office once a month.
