3 Go-to Recipes for Your next Holiday Party

Having go-to recipes in your apron pocket can help ease stress and simplify your pre-party planning. These three, simple recipes, recommended by Vail Health staff, are tried-and-true options to get you out of the kitchen and into the social scene faster.
Deviled Eggs: A classic found on the dining room table for generations, this recipe provides a festive spin with the addition of green food coloring (or sub avocado for a similar green effect). Contrary to their name, these eggs are a heavenly addition to the menu!
Cranberry Brie Bites: There's nothing that says your cranberry sauce has to be served on a plate. What about in a warm, yummy, gooey pastry cup? These one-bite wonders taste like the holidays in a convenient snack size.
High-protein, Low Carb Mac n Cheese: This healthier option is lower in carbs and higher in protein than traditional mac and cheese recipes. Plus, sneak an extra serving of veggies past those picky eaters at the dinner table!
Bonus Recipe!
If you're in a rush and have less than five minutes, the below is a cheerful, holiday-themed appetizer guaranteed to woo guests.
Holiday Cheese Trees:
- One package Laughing Cow cheese wedges
- Italian seasoning
- Salt
- Pepper
- Crushed red pepper (optional)
- Pretzel sticks
Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper on a plate. Thoroughly mix. Unwrap each cheese wedge and dip one side of wedge in mixture until coated. Break a pretzel stick in half and insert into the flat side of the triangle to create a festive holiday tree. Serve chilled.
