Vail Health and Surf Synergy to Host Week-long Retreat in Costa Rica in October

Longevity and Wellness Retreat Blends Medical Research with Healthspan Optimization Strategies
Vail Health, in partnership with Surf Synergy, is launching an innovative concept for new week-long retreats in Costa Rica that focus on a transformative journey to longevity by blending cutting-edge research with actionable self-care strategies, offering evidence-based solutions complemented by simple joys and delights that enhance the human journey.The first Longevity and Wellness Retreat will occur Oct. 19 - 26, 2024, followed by a second women's-specific wellness retreat from Oct. 26 - Nov 2, 2024. The retreats will be led by experts knowledgeable and passionate about wellness, physical fitness, nutrition, behavioral health, and simply getting the most out of life. The Longevity and Wellness Retreat will incorporate optional surfing or SUP lessons for anyone from a never-ever to advanced SUP/surfer - or waterfall hikes and other wellness activities

Participants will enjoy daily longevity and educational workshops from world-renowned experts, including New York Times best-selling author Aaron Bare; Vail Health's Dr. Barry Sandler, a Wellness and Longevity Physician; Chief Population Health Officer Chris Lindley; Vail Health Functional Medicine Doctor Dr. Eliza Klearman; and Family Nurse Practitioner Kyler Hijmans.

Dr. Eliza Klearman and Kyler Hijmans will lead the Longevity & Wellness Retreat from Oct. 26 to Nov. 2. The retreat will help women discover the secrets to healthier and more vibrant lives. It will also allow like-minded women to connect, nourish their bodies and minds, and embark on a transformative journey toward optimal health.

Surf Synergy recently opened Casa De Cielo which accommodates 24 guests. Nestled atop a lush hill with sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding jungle, this architectural wonder presents a fusion of modern luxury and natural splendor. With expansive al fresco living spaces, a breathtaking black tile infinity-edge pool, and unobstructed ocean and sunset views, Casa del Cielo is a hilltop oasis like no other. With space for up to 24 guests, Casa del Cielo includes amenities such as an infinity pool, and game room.
Guided by each participant’s personal goals and evidence-based research, Longevity and Wellness Retreat experts will lead participants through a one-of-a-kind, integrative adventure towards a healthier, more fulfilling life. Designed for both individuals and small groups, participants are encouraged to bring friends or family members. Through one-on-one coaching, group sessions with thought leaders, and a curated selection of evidence-based wellness activities, attendees will surf the waves of transformation.
