First Baby of 2026
It's a boy! Vail Health Hospital welcomed the first baby born in 2026 on January 5 at 7:48 p.m. Melian Enrique Bellorin Aguilar weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. Congratulations to his proud parents, Gabriela Valentina Aguilar Marquez and Daniel Enrique Bellorin Gomez, of Eagle. Vail Health has been welcoming beautiful babies since the 1960s. Thank you to the Vail Health Volunteer Corps for showering the family with birthday presents from Vail Health’s Gift Shop. Congratulations to Gabriela and Daniel, and welcome to the valley, Melian!
