Visiting Hours

Vail Health welcomes the family and friends of loved ones in our care. To ensure the comfort and safety of our patients, we ask that you adhere to our visiting hours. We are smoke-free and tobacco-free. That means smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vaping are prohibited in all areas of our campuses.

Beginning Saturday June 13th, 2020, Vail Health Hospital has established new and temporary visitation guidelines. We highly encourage our patients and families to limit visitors as we make every effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and support our patients and their family members. Visitors to COVID-19 patients are restricted. Please refer to location-specific guidance and processes.

Please follow these guidelines at all times:

  • Do not visit if you are sick
  • Wash your hands when entering the hospital and use sanitizer frequently
  • Limit movement throughout the facility
  • Wear a mask when in the facility (available at the concierge desk)

Family Birth Center: (Effective June 15, 2020)
We will now allow 2 visitors and siblings of baby at time. This will allow a second support person in the labor room and on the unit as well as any other children the mother would want at the hospital (as long as there is someone to watch the children that is not the patient).
