VAIL HEALTH VISITOR POLICY
Updated: March 20, 2020
Vail Health Hospital is further reducing its visitor policy. No visitors will be allowed into Vail Health Hospital. Patients should plan ahead to be dropped off without anyone coming into the facility with them. Screening for COVID-19 symptoms will continue for anyone entering the facility.
To reduce the amount of foot traffic through Vail Health Hospital, no visitors or caregivers are permitted into the facility. This applies to Vail Valley Surgery Center, The Steadman Clinic, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery, Howard Head Sports Medicine, the Emergency Department and all other units serviced within the facility.
For the Family Birth Center, as the parent, you are permitted one support person and a doula, if one has already been hired. All other visitors are prohibited at this time.
