Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action that focuses on educating the public about the vital steps to help save a life to empower them to take action in a bleeding emergency.

Stop the Bleed Events

Be the difference and save a life! Anyone can learn to save a life. Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventative death and this short course teaches bystanders three quick actions to take until first responders arrive. Join our team and learn to save a life of a family member, friend or someone you might not even know.

The ABCs of bleeding that the course teaches include:
  • Alert - call 9-1-1
  • Bleeding - find the bleeding injury
