Clinic Scheduler

- Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, locations, payers,
etc. - Receives and initiates calls to and from patients, providers, outside provider offices, while
following established scheduling procedures and protocols. - Appropriately schedules appointments, tests and/or procedures, leveraging the electronic health
record (EHR) scheduling software. - Promptly answers incoming calls in a professional manner and scheduling of patient
appointments. - Obtains patient demographics with accuracy to include but not limited to patient address
information, telephone number and insurance information from the patient. - Manages electronic requests through drop box and patient portals to schedule appointments.
- Distributes faxes helps manage needed requests.
- Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
- Must be HIPAA compliant
- 2 years administration or similar experience preferred.
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

The posted salary range for this position applies to Colorado and may be adjusted based on geographic location.
