Biography

Dr. Matthew Schmitz is a board certified radiologist specializing in pediatric radiology. Dr. Schmitz earned his MD at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, MI. He completed his radiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital/Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA.

Throughout his education and training, Dr. Schmitz has earned numerous honors and awards, including induction in the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He is very active in the medical community, having held leadership roles with several organizations, including the American Medical Association and the New England Journal of Medicine. He has contributed to several publications, presentations, and lectures as well.
