Biography

Schedule: Dillon - 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.

Jonathan Sherman, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and interventional cardiology. He specializes in complex coronary and structural heart intervention to include a special interest in chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions. Dr. Sherman joins the team two times per month in our Dillon clinic and cover call in Vail. He has practiced for five years at Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates and seven years in Colorado Springs. He has an extensive academic and research background, having spent time researching basic principles of medicine and cardiology at each stage of his training. During fellowship, he received a Certificate in Bioinformatics from Oxford University in England, studying the genetics of collateral vessel formation in cardiac patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Sherman is an avid fly fisherman. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and spending time with his wife and two boys
