Biography

Dr. Sandler is board certified in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry and has over 20 years of experience treating all psychiatric conditions. Her passion is the mental health of children and adolescents, and she also has a special interest in women’s mental health issues. She enjoyed an outpatient private practice in Denver/Evergreen for many years, before shifting focus and joining the psychiatry department at Denver Health Medical Center. There, she worked on the inpatient adolescent unit and in the school-based health clinics in the Denver Public Schools. She is a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado where she teaches medical students and psychiatric residents. She is thrilled to join the mission of bringing world-class behavioral health services to the Vail Valley.

Dr. Sandler was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Colorado in 1999. She is happiest when she is in the Vail Valley with her husband and two amazing teenagers. You can find her running up the trails on Beaver Creek mountain in the summer, or skiing down the slopes at Vail in the winter. She loves hot yoga and all things Peloton.
