Dr. Melissa Lipton is a board certified radiologist specializing in pediatric radiology and abdominal imaging. Dr. Lipton earned her MD at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, TX, where she co-founded "Future Radiologists of America." She pursued her radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC and then received her abdominal imaging fellowship training at Duke University Medical Center, and also received her pediatric imaging fellowship at Duke.
Dr. Lipton earned multiple honors and distinctions during her education and training, including "Outstanding Intern" and "Outstanding Academic Achievement in Physical Diagnosis." She is active in the medical community as a member of several professional organizations, as well as involvement in multiple research projects.
Dr. Lipton's personal interests include photography, books, hiking, movies, cycling, piano, travel, art, and skiing.
