Howard Head Sports Medicine (HHSM), in partnership with Vail Health, is looking for a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team located at the Vail Howard Head Clinic. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care to a wide variety of patients—from weekend warriors to elite athletes—in a state-of-the-art facility right in the heart of Vail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate patients using appropriate tests and measurements to determine level of function and create individualized treatment plans
  • Establish physical therapy interventions based on physician orders and patient goals
  • Deliver competent and safe therapy techniques in accordance with best practices
  • Ensure continuity of care through effective communication with other providers
  • Document patient progress and submit billing in a timely manner
  • Provide patient/family education on home programs and self-care strategies
  • Participate in clinical instruction and mentoring of PT/PTA students
  • Represent HHSM in community events and professional engagements
  • Float between various HHSM locations within Eagle County as needed
  • Must be HIPAA compliant and demonstrate the values of a Just Culture

 

Who You Are

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Colorado, or hold a valid PT Compact Privilege
  • Hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Committed to evidence-based practice and clinical growth
  • Comfortable working in different clinic environments and adapting to team needs
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year.
