Vail Health is looking for a talented and motivated Seasonal Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team in one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in the country. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Performs diagnostic examinations, ensures image quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and patient and physician satisfaction.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO: 
  1. Performs all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health Protocols.
  2. Assists Radiologist with all fluoroscopic procedures.
  3. Maintains established department policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions.
  4. Maintains working knowledge and use of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure quality patient documentation.
  5. Monitor supply inventory and notify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low. Keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.
  6. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational values.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
 
Experience:
  • One year of experience in radiology preferred.
License(s):
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
Certification(s):
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Computer / Typing:
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

 

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.
