Community

Giving Back Locally

At Vail Health, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve throughout Eagle County and the surrounding mountain region. As a nonprofit health system, our mission extends beyond the walls of our hospitals and clinics — investing in programs, partnerships, and services that support healthier lives for all.

Vail Health is dedicated to understanding the evolving health needs of our communities and identifying meaningful ways to address the most pressing local health challenges. Through community partnerships, outreach initiatives, charitable care, and investments in preventive health and wellness, we strive to make high-quality care more accessible and impactful for residents across our region.

Community engagement is central to our mission and an essential part of our commitment to improving lives today and for generations to come. In fiscal year 2024, Vail Health delivered $34 million in community benefits, more than the value of its nonprofit tax benefits. In addition, Vail Health’s $200 million investment in behavioral health is transforming lives as we continue to build and provide more services at the Edwards Community Health Campus.
