Dr. Bettenhausen enjoys the full spectrum of Family Medicine and is proud to care for multiple generations within the same families, some spanning three and even four generations, at her Eagle practice. As a female provider and a mom of three, she brings a relatable and compassionate perspective to her care. Her clinical interests naturally gravitate toward women’s health and pediatric/adolescent medicine.
Dr. Bettenhausen has a particular passion for women’s health, especially midlife care. She has completed over 100 hours of continuing medical education in the treatment of menopause with Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, which reflects the latest evidence-based approaches to safe and effective hormone treatment. With 27 years of experience in women’s health, she brings a deep, practical expertise to this often underserved area. She also anticipates formal certification in this specialty in the near future. She enjoys integrating traditional Western medicine with a lifestyle approach to both prevention of disease and treatment of problems.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Bettenhausen can be found enjoying the Colorado outdoors with her family, whether camping in state parks, mountain biking, hiking, alpine skiing, or snowshoeing.
