About the opportunity:

To design and coordinate behavioral health inpatient programming to deliver structured, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a safe, supportive environment that addresses the acute mental health needs of patients while promoting stabilization, recovery, and continuity of care. To develop and provide education and training needs in collaboration with the leadership team to support the clinical team. Responsible for needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of educational experiences for staff.

 
What you will do:
  • Performs comprehensive assessment of clinical staff education needs.
  • Develops clinical education programs based on the needs assessments.
  • Implements educational programs based on the needs of clinical staff.
  • Participates in the design of orientation programs for new employees.
  • Develops annual skills training for inpatient employees.
  • Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to develop educational materials and programs.
  • Works with HR to document all training and clinical education of staff.
  • Responds to clinical staff requests, emails, questions, and requests.
  • Coordinates and oversees inpatient behavioral health programs to ensure delivery of structured, evidence-based services that meet patient and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors program effectiveness through data collection, outcome tracking, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • This position requires one weekly shift on the floor and as needed.

  • Must be HIPAA compliant

What you will need:
 

 

Experience:
  • Four years of nursing experience required
  • Behavioral health experience preferred
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
License(s) and Certification(s):
 
•    Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required
•    Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per hour.

Hourly Pay:
$47.79$76.21 USD
