Biography

Dr. Oakes earned both a master of science degree in physiology and his medical degree at the New York Medical College. He completed his radiology residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and his body imaging fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Dr. Oakes has collaborated on multiple research projects, delivered several presentations, authored published articles and is a member of the Radiological Society of North America. He serves as the vice chairman of the Radiology/Pathology Department and as the medical director of imaging at Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Oakes is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and specializes in body imaging and diagnostic radiology.

Dr. Oakes lives in Colorado with his wife, Regina, and young son and enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and snowboarding.
