Originally from Avon Lake, Ohio, near Cleveland, Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Clarkson University, where she competed as an alpine ski racer. She primarily trained and raced at Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid, New York, known to many skiers as “Iceface.” Taylor went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Cleveland State University. Taylor’s clinical education took her across the country, with rotations in Massachusetts, Ohio, Vermont, and Oregon, where she developed a strong foundation in orthopedic and sports physical therapy while working with a wide variety of patients and athletes. Before beginning her residency, she practiced outpatient orthopedics at University Hospitals in Westlake, Ohio. Outside of the clinic, Taylor has spent years immersed in the ski industry. She served as the Ski Program Director for Holiday Valley Ski Resort’s Eagles Development Program, helping young athletes develop both on and off the mountain. She has also worked as a ski boot fitter, ski technician, and sales specialist at The City Garage in Ellicottville, New York, giving her a unique perspective on performance, equipment, and injury prevention. Taylor is passionate about helping active individuals return to the sports and activities they love. She has a particular interest in working with outdoor athletes, especially skiers of all disciplines, and is committed to providing evidence-based, individualized care that helps patients achieve their highest level of performance. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys alpine and telemark skiing, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, camping, traveling, exploring new places, and discovering great food wherever her adventures take her.
