Biography

Dr. Benjamin Hopkins is a radiation oncologist dedicated to providing personalized, cutting-edge cancer care. He is passionate about using advanced radiation techniques to deliver effective treatment while prioritizing his patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Hopkins earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. He went on to complete his internship in internal medicine and residency in radiation oncology at Emory University, where he served as Chief Resident.

Throughout his training, Dr. Hopkins has been involved in implementing new treatment techniques, national cancer care advocacy, education, and clinical research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications on topics including breast cancer, genitourinary cancer, lung cancer, and head and neck cancer.

Dr. Hopkins has extensive training in advanced radiation techniques, including stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and brachytherapy. He believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach that allows patients to remain close to home and continue in the activities they love.

Dr. Hopkins and his wife Nicole move to the valley with their lab, Scout, and hope to start a family in the community.
