Biography

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Johnson continued his education and completed his radiology residency at the University of California Davis. He then returned to Colorado, where he completed his fellowship in body imaging at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Johnston specializes in body imaging and general radiology and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Before joining Diversified Radiology, Dr. Johnston worked at the Denver Veteran's Medical Center and served as an associate professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has served as the president of the Colorado Radiological Society and has organized the Rocky Mountain Radiological Society annual meeting. In addition to writing several published papers, Dr. Johnston is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Colorado Radiological Society, the Radiological Society of North American and the American Roentgen Ray Society.

Dr. Johnston currently lives in Englewood, Colorado and enjoys spending time with his wife and children outdoors, particularly hiking and downhill and backcountry skiing.
