Dr. Schleis is a board-certified endocrinologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, accessible, and cutting-edge endocrine care. Recognizing the transformative power of modern digital health, Dr. Schleis transitioned to a 100% telehealth practice in 2023. By leveraging advanced virtual care platforms, he breaks down geographical barriers to ensure patients receive top-tier specialist care from the comfort and convenience of their own homes.

Dr. Schleis’s passion for endocrinology is deeply personal. Living with Type 1 Diabetes himself, he has a profound, firsthand understanding of the daily rhythms, technical challenges, and emotional aspects of managing a chronic condition. This unique perspective fuels his clinical dedication to diabetes care
and technology. He specializes in integrating continuous glucose monitors (CGMs), smart insulin pumps, and automated insulin delivery systems into his patients’ daily lives, translating complex data into practical, real-world success.

While diabetes tech and thyroid cancer remain core pillars of his practice, Dr. Schleis provides expert diagnosis and virtual management across all areas of endocrinology. He maintains a specialized clinical focus on the workup and management of complex neuroendocrine and metabolic conditions, including pheochromocytomas, comprehensive adrenal concerns, and complex parathyroid etiologies impacting bone health and calcium metabolism.
