Vail Health’s plastic surgery team specializes in breast reconstructive surgery for cancer patients. Working closely with Shaw Cancer Center, we strive to offer a personalized experience from each patient’s first consultation, through surgery and beyond. Collaborative Dermatologic Care & Reconstruction

We work closely with local dermatologists to provide expert reconstructive surgery options and lesion removal.

Trauma

Our plastic surgery team works closely with the Vail Health Emergency Department, urgent care locations and surgery groups across our health system and community to provide treatment for trauma-related conditions and scar revisions.

Breast Reduction

For patients experiencing back, neck, or shoulder pain, skin irritation, or postural issues due to excess breast tissue, breast reduction surgery can relieve discomfort and improve quality of life. Many patients qualify for insurance coverage. Our team will help guide you through the process from consultation to recovery.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

Gynecomastia — the enlargement of male breast tissue — is a common condition that can affect confidence and comfort. Our board-certified surgeon offers effective, discreet treatment options to restore a firmer, more masculine chest contour, helping you feel confident in your body again.
