Biografía
Dr. Barry Sandler is a board-certified emergency physician with +27 years of experience at large urban trauma centers in Detroit and Denver. As an osteopathic physician, his roots and philosophy lie in a whole-person, bio-psycho-social approach to disease prevention and reversal.
Since transitioning to Healthspan and longevity medicine, Dr. Sandler has dedicated his practice to helping patients live longer, healthier lives through a root-cause, evidence-based approach to care. He is also board certified in Anti-Aging and Metabolic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He integrates cutting-edge science with personalized care to optimize metabolic health, longevity, physical performance, and overall well-being. His approach emphasizes proactive and preventive strategies aimed at identifying the underlying drivers of aging and reducing or reversing chronic disease.
Dr. Sandler received his medical training at Michigan State University and completed his residency in emergency medicine in Detroit. He came to Colorado in 1999 to ski and never left. Outside of medicine, he enjoys skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and off-road adventure motorcycling with his wife and two adult children.
Dr. Sandler is now accepting new patients for medical weight management, metabolic health, and men’s hormone optimization.
