Biography

Schedule: Dr. Myers sees patients in Eagle on Fridays.

Dr. Gerald Myers has joined the Cardiovascular Center and is taking appointments in Eagle. A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Myers graduated with a BS in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. He received his medical degree from Temple Medical School, and following an internship and residency at Pittsburgh's Montefiore Hospital, he completed a cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital.

After working as a clinical cardiologist in a thriving single specialty practice in Pittsburgh for 20 years, he relocated to Colorado in 2003, where he joined the Heart Center of the Rockies in Fort Collins. He moved to Steamboat Springs in 2010 and has most recently been serving the community of Craig, CO as an internist and cardiologist. 
Dr. Myers' heart is in medicine, and he is a passionate writer. He began writing in the early 70's as a sports editor for the University of Pittsburgh's Pitt News. Since then, he has become a successful author, publishing six novels since 2001 in multiple genres, some of which have been critically acclaimed.

Presently, Dr. Myers lives in Singletree with his wife, Renee, balancing his professional career and creative writing endeavors with recreational pursuits such as skiing, road biking and hiking.
