Anesthesiology at Vail Health is provided through an affiliation with Anesthesia Partners of Colorado (APC). Anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) who specialize in multiple disciplines to provide world-class perioperative medicine for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Vail Valley. The anesthesia team is committed to delivering the most advanced anesthetic techniques with compassion and care. The anesthesia providers apply the most recent evidenced-based therapies to their practice, which not only influences patients’ surgical experiences, but also directly affects their outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Anesthesiology is billed separately from the other surgical services performed. Anesthesia providers are specialists, like a surgeon, and you received a separate bill for the administration of professional anesthesia services. This bill is also separate from facility fees that may have references to anesthesia supply charges, equipment charges, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
