Colorado Mountain Medical (CMM) atiende a pacientes que experimentan una amplia gama de afecciones gastrointestinales (GI), como enfermedad inflamatoria intestinal (EII), reflujo \u00e1cido, enfermedad por reflujo gastroesof\u00e1gico (ERGE), s\u00edndrome del intestino irritable (SII) y hepatitis, entre otras. Colonoscopia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es una colonoscopia y cu\u00e1ndo deber\u00edas hacerte una?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Una colonoscopia, tambi\u00e9n conocida como endoscopia digestiva baja, es un examen que se utiliza para detectar cambios o anomal\u00edas en el intestino grueso (colon) y el recto. Este examen del colon se realiza utilizando un tubo flexible del tama\u00f1o aproximado de tu dedo anular. Una peque\u00f1a c\u00e1mara en la punta del tubo proporciona una vista en tiempo real del colon. Durante una colonoscopia, un gastroenter\u00f3logo revisar\u00e1 tu colon en busca de tejidos irritados, p\u00f3lipos y buscar\u00e1 de cerca cualquier otro problema. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
