Desarrollar fuerza funcional puede ayudar a tu espalda a no sobrecompensar.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Las primeras se\u00f1ales: escucha cuando tu cuerpo te susurra<\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El dolor de espalda rara vez comienza con un \u201cay\u201d dram\u00e1tico. En cambio, se trata de aplicar cargas funcionales con los brazos y las piernas, porque eso es lo que usas en tu vida diaria\u201d, explica <a href=\"https:\/\/www.howardhead.org\/staff\/devyn-kammert\" target=\"_blank\">Devyn Kammert<\/a>, fisioterapeuta y especialista en columna vertebral en Howard Head Sports Medicine. <br> <br> Kammert y Greider recomiendan incorporar estos sencillos ejercicios en tu rutina:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flexiones: No te estreses por las versiones estilo militar. Las flexiones contra una pared, una mesa o una encimera a\u00fan trabajan el pecho, los hombros y el abdomen.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Filas: Las filas refuerzan el movimiento de tracci\u00f3n que usas constantemente, desde abrir puertas hasta cargar equipo.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Sentadillas: Las sentadillas desarrollan la fuerza de las piernas y los gl\u00fateos, la base para una columna vertebral sana. Es una de las herramientas m\u00e1s efectivas para aliviar el dolor de espalda.<br> <br> \u201cCambiar tu posici\u00f3n corporal cada 30 minutos ayuda a que tu cuerpo se mantenga flexible\u201d, explica Greider. Incluso los movimientos peque\u00f1os cuentan: levantarse, cambiar de postura o un estiramiento suave.<br> <br> El estr\u00e9s tambi\u00e9n juega un papel sorprendente. Los factores estresantes de la vida disminuyen tu tolerancia al dolor y aumentan la intensidad porque tu \u201ccubeta\u201d ya est\u00e1 llena. \"Adoptar un enfoque hol\u00edstico es lo mejor porque podemos mejorar el umbral del dolor al manejar factores como el estr\u00e9s y el sue\u00f1o\", dice Kammert.<br> <br> Unas cuantas victorias diarias para h\u00e1bitos saludables de columna vertebral:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Toma descansos de movimiento frecuentes.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Prioriza el sue\u00f1o reparador.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Practica la atenci\u00f3n plena cuando el estr\u00e9s se intensifique.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Mantente hidratado: el agua y los electrolitos apoyan la curaci\u00f3n y la recuperaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cu\u00e1ndo buscar ayuda profesional<\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si el dolor de espalda persiste durante varias semanas, no esperes a que se cure solo. Un fisioterapeuta puede tratar el dolor y ayudar a prevenir problemas cr\u00f3nicos. <br> <br> Si experimenta s\u00edntomas nerviosos como dolor agudo, hormigueo, entumecimiento o debilidad, como pie ca\u00eddo, busque atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de inmediato.<br> <br> El tratamiento temprano conduce a una recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida.
