La medicina nuclear es una rama de la imagenolog\u00eda m\u00e9dica que utiliza peque\u00f1as cantidades de material radiactivo ingerido por el paciente para diagnosticar y tratar una variedad de enfermedades, incluyendo muchos tipos de c\u00e1ncer, enfermedades card\u00edacas y ciertas otras anomal\u00edas dentro del cuerpo.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El sello de acreditaci\u00f3n de oro de la ACR representa el m\u00e1s alto nivel de calidad de imagen y seguridad del paciente. Se otorga solo a las instalaciones que cumplen con las Directrices de Pr\u00e1ctica y los Est\u00e1ndares T\u00e9cnicos de la ACR despu\u00e9s de una evaluaci\u00f3n por pares realizada por m\u00e9dicos certificados por la junta y f\u00edsicos m\u00e9dicos que son expertos en el campo. Se eval\u00faan la idoneidad de las calificaciones del personal de calidad de imagen, el equipo de la instalaci\u00f3n, los procedimientos de control de calidad y los programas de garant\u00eda de calidad.
