Las piedras del muro son del mismo tipo de roca que utiliz\u00f3 el Rey Salom\u00f3n al construir el Templo en Jerusal\u00e9n. Siguiendo una tradici\u00f3n de 300 a\u00f1os del Muro de las Lamentaciones en Jerusal\u00e9n, hay espacios entre las piedras para que los visitantes dejen una nota expresando su esperanza m\u00e1s profunda en una ocasi\u00f3n alegre o sus sentimientos sinceros en un momento dif\u00edcil.
