Seg\u00fan el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.org\/cancer\/risk-prevention\/diet-physical-activity\/acs-guidelines-nutrition-physical-activity-cancer-prevention\/guidelines.html\" target=\"_blank\">Sociedad Americana de C\u00e1ncer<\/a>, al menos el 18% de todos los casos de c\u00e1ncer y alrededor del 16% de las muertes por c\u00e1ncer en los Estados Unidos est\u00e1n relacionados con el sobrepeso, la inactividad f\u00edsica, el consumo de alcohol y\/o una nutrici\u00f3n deficiente. Adem\u00e1s, el estudio revel\u00f3 que las personas con tipos de tumores con receptores hormonales negativos (no asociados con el estr\u00f3geno ni la progesterona) experimentaron un beneficio adicional de una reducci\u00f3n del riesgo de 26%.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si bien la evidencia que vincula la dieta con el c\u00e1ncer de mama a\u00fan se est\u00e1 descubriendo cient\u00edficamente, comer una gran cantidad de frutas y verduras todav\u00eda tiene varios beneficios adicionales para la salud. Estos alimentos de origen vegetal contienen importantes fitoqu\u00edmicos, fibra y nutrientes que el cuerpo necesita para una buena salud, mantener un peso saludable y para la prevenci\u00f3n de muchas enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas.
