Cada vez fue como unas minivacaciones, desliz\u00e1ndome hacia una realidad diferente donde solo exist\u00eda amor. S\u00e9 que suena cursi, pero es la \u00fanica manera en que puedo describir mi experiencia: una realidad de calidez, cuidado y sanaci\u00f3n genuinos.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El c\u00e1ncer es un viaje como cualquier viaje que te lleva a nuevos lugares y nuevos descubrimientos. Es un viaje con muchos regalos y uno de los m\u00e1s grandes para m\u00ed ha sido venir al centro para recibir tratamiento y alojarme en Jack's Place.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jack\u2019s Place es una casa maravillosa construida por la comunidad para que los pacientes tuvieran el menor estr\u00e9s adicional posible. Hermosas habitaciones amplias con ventanas con vista a las monta\u00f1as, un estudio de yoga, una sala de meditaci\u00f3n, un sol\u00e1rium, una biblioteca, una cocina grande, un comedor, etc., y a un par de minutos a pie del centro de c\u00e1ncer en s\u00ed. Y encontr\u00e9 que era muy \u00fatil ser parte de una comunidad de otras personas en el mismo viaje.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un enorme agradecimiento a todos mis \u00e1ngeles en Edwards: a mis dos doctores, el Dr. Urquhart y la Dra. Hardenberg, al personal de enfermer\u00eda en la sala de quimioterapia que me envolvi\u00f3 en mantas calientes, me trajo comida y bebida, y me trat\u00f3 como si fuera su \u00fanica paciente; a las enfermeras del \u00e1rea de radiolog\u00eda que colocaron un enorme cartel a lo largo de la habitaci\u00f3n dese\u00e1ndome feliz cumplea\u00f1os ese d\u00eda; a los fisioterapeutas que se convirtieron en buenos amigos y a muchos otros.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tuve una sanaci\u00f3n milagrosa y la atribuyo en gran parte al c\u00e1lido abrazo de estar en esta atm\u00f3sfera.
