Los criterios del premio se basaron en encuestas cualitativas y cuantitativas de programas oncol\u00f3gicos realizadas durante el a\u00f1o.<br> <br> \u201cNos sentimos honrados y emocionados de recibir este prestigioso reconocimiento de la (Comisi\u00f3n contra el C\u00e1ncer)\u201d, dijo Stacy Toyama, Vicepresidenta del Shaw Cancer Center. \u201cNuestro equipo prioriza la atenci\u00f3n de alta calidad y que una organizaci\u00f3n estimada nos reconozca es un honor que refuerza la renombrada reputaci\u00f3n de Shaw\u201d.\u201d <br> <br> El premio est\u00e1 destinado a:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reconocer programas de c\u00e1ncer que logren la excelencia en la provisi\u00f3n de atenci\u00f3n de calidad a pacientes con c\u00e1ncer.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Motivar a otros programas oncol\u00f3gicos a trabajar para mejorar su nivel de atenci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Facilitar el di\u00e1logo entre los galardonados y los profesionales de la salud de otros centros oncol\u00f3gicos con el fin de compartir las mejores pr\u00e1cticas.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Alienten a los homenajeados a servir como recursos de atenci\u00f3n de calidad para otros programas oncol\u00f3gicos.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCada vez m\u00e1s, descubrimos que los pacientes y sus familias quieren saber c\u00f3mo se comparan las instituciones de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de sus comunidades entre s\u00ed\u201d, dijo Lawrence N.
