El cirujano que oper\u00f3 la rodilla derecha de Lindsey Vonn se mostr\u00f3 \u201coptimista ante una recuperaci\u00f3n completa\u201d despu\u00e9s de que esta se rompiera dos ligamentos en un accidente la semana pasada en el campeonato mundial.

El Dr. Bill Sterett, m\u00e9dico del equipo de esqu\u00ed de EE. UU., realiz\u00f3 el procedimiento a la cuatro veces campeona general de la Copa del Mundo el domingo por la ma\u00f1ana en Vail, Colorado. En un comunicado emitido por el equipo de esqu\u00ed, Sterett dijo que la cirug\u00eda sali\u00f3 bien y que ella estaba descansando c\u00f3modamente.

\u201cLa tasa de \u00e9xito general para la cirug\u00eda del LCA\/LCM es muy buena.
