Cualquiera puede aprender a salvar una vida. La hemorragia incontrolada es una de las principales causas de muerte prevenible y este curso corto ense\u00f1a a los testigos tres acciones r\u00e1pidas que deben tomar hasta que lleguen los equipos de respuesta. \u00danete a nuestro equipo y aprende a salvar la vida de un familiar, amigo o alguien a quien quiz\u00e1s ni siquiera conozcas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ABCs of bleeding that the course teaches include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alert &#8211; call 9-1-1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bleeding &#8211; find the bleeding injury<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compress &#8211; apply presses to stop the bleeding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>There are currently no Vail Health Stop the Bleed training events scheduled. Please check back for updates!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stop the Bleed Kits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In partnership with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/startinghearts.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Starting Hearts<\/a>, Eagle County, and Vail Health, official&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stopthebleed.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Detener la Hemorragia<\/a>&nbsp;kits have been installed in 200 AED locations including schools and law enforcement vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stop the Bleed kits include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A&nbsp;C-A-T tourniquet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instructional booklet on bleeding control<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>QuikClot Bleeding Control Dressing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protective gloves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compression bandage&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What Is Stop The Bleed?
