Vail Health’s Commitment to Community Health<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vail Health\u2019s mission is to elevate health across the mountain communities we serve. Guided by this mission and a vision for community health and well-being, we conduct a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. CHNAs are one way we monitor health status across Eagle County and identify emerging health concerns through statistical data and community feedback. A key component of the CHNA is stakeholder input, which allows us to hear directly from local residents about health concerns and make recommendations to improve community health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 Vail Health CHNA<\/a> <\/strong>and 2025 Vail Health CHNA Reports<\/a><\/strong> outline findings from our most recent assessments and highlight strengths and opportunities across Vail Health\u2019s service areas. The findings will be used to guide future initiatives at Vail Health, as well as serve as a community resource for grant-making, advocacy and to support the many programs provided by our community health and social service partners. Vail Health\u2019s implementation plan is focused on increasing access to affordable, comprehensive, quality care; improving availability and delivery of behavioral health care; preventing and managing chronic disease; and improving health equity for underserved populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hospital Community Benefit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Vail Health is committed to providing programs, partnerships and financial investments that benefit our community and align with identified community health needs and feedback. Each year Vail Health supports community health initiatives through educational programs, discounted medical care, community organization funding and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is Vail Health’s Hospital Community Benefit Accountability (HCBA) Annual Report and supplemental resources. These documents provide additional information regarding our impact on community health needs and confirms Vail Health has completed all state requirements for Hospital Community Benefit Accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
