The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, fielding questions about scheduling with providers, directing calls to appropriate parties, taking and distributing messages, and scheduling appointments.<\/div>\n

  • Schedules medical appointments through coordination of patients, providers, locations, payers, etc.<\/li>\n
  • Receives and initiates calls to and from patients, providers, outside provider offices, while following established scheduling procedures and protocols.<\/li>\n
  • Appropriately schedules appointments, tests and\/or procedures, leveraging the electronic health record (EHR) scheduling software.<\/li>\n
  • Promptly answers incoming calls in a professional manner and scheduling of patient appointments.<\/li>\n
  • Obtains patient demographics with accuracy to include but not limited to patient address information, telephone number and insurance information from the patient.<\/li>\n
  • Manages electronic requests through drop box and patient portals to schedule appointments.<\/li>\n
  • Distributes faxes helps manage needed requests.<\/li>\n
