Sof\u00eda es originaria de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se mud\u00f3 a los Estados Unidos en 2002 para vivir en Florida. Asisti\u00f3 a la Universidad de Miami para sus estudios de pregrado en neurociencia. Posteriormente, asisti\u00f3 a la Florida International University para obtener una Maestr\u00eda en Salud P\u00fablica y su Doctorado en Fisioterapia. Le encanta trabajar con una variedad de pacientes en entornos agudos y de rehabilitaci\u00f3n. Su enfoque principal ha sido trabajar con pacientes neurol\u00f3gicos y ortop\u00e9dicos para maximizar su funci\u00f3n en su camino hacia la recuperaci\u00f3n.
