Rachel grew up in Michigan, where from a fairly young age; knew she was interested in helping people. Through personal experiences helping family members and experiencing injuries of her own, she dealt with getting care first hand. That led her to consider physical therapy as my own career. Rachel loved the idea of being able to provide someone with the knowledge and tools to allow increased independence and improved quality of life. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Dayton, receiving her bachelor’s in exercise science and pre-physical therapy. Rachel pursued her doctorate at Temple University, choosing to do clinical internships throughout the country: St. Louis, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Oklahoma and then moved to Colorado after graduation, drawn to the beauty and activities the mountain life provided.
