Originally from the “Windy City” of Chicago, Sofija is a physical therapist and certified hand therapist. She joined Howard Head Sports Medicine in 2012 and served as the Director of Hand Therapy until 2022. She received her master of physical therapy from Marquette University in 1999 and went on to specialize in the treatment of the upper extremity. She completed her certification in hand therapy in 2005. She then completed her certification in manual therapy through IAOM-US in 2013. Her passion is the treatment of upper extremity disorders using a manual therapy approach. Sofija is currently adjunct faculty at Regis University in Denver, CO.
