Stephanie Miller se cri\u00f3 \u201cdentro del Beltway\u201d de Washington D.C. Recibi\u00f3 su t\u00edtulo de Licenciada en Artes de la Universidad de Pensilvania, gradu\u00e1ndose cum laude con especializaci\u00f3n en Biof\u00edsica y una especializaci\u00f3n secundaria en Qu\u00edmica. En 1995, obtuvo su Doctorado en Medicina de la Universidad de Maryland, tras lo cual se mud\u00f3 a Denver, Colorado, para seguir una carrera en cirug\u00eda. Comenz\u00f3 su formaci\u00f3n en cirug\u00eda general en la Universidad de Colorado en 1995. All\u00ed, recibi\u00f3 un premio como Residente del A\u00f1o en 1996. Su formaci\u00f3n incluy\u00f3 dos a\u00f1os de investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica b\u00e1sica como Becaria de Investigaci\u00f3n del NIH bajo la direcci\u00f3n del Dr. Alden Harken. Complet\u00f3 su residencia y formaci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica en la Universidad de Colorado en 2002.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La Dra. Stephanie Miller es actualmente una cirujana de mama en el \u00e1rea de Denver. Es una l\u00edder en este campo y en nuestra comunidad. Es la directora m\u00e9dica de dos importantes programas de mama de nuestra zona. Se especializa en enfermedades mamarias, cuidando a mujeres con c\u00e1ncer de mama y alto riesgo de padecerlo. Su experiencia quir\u00fargica se extiende al campo de la cirug\u00eda oncopl\u00e1stica, desde la conservaci\u00f3n de la mama hasta la mastectom\u00eda con preservaci\u00f3n del pez\u00f3n. Se dedica a educar a las mujeres sobre el c\u00e1ncer de mama, sus riesgos y opciones de intervenci\u00f3n y tratamiento. Tambi\u00e9n es entusiasta del ejercicio, esquiadora \u00e1vida, corredora, escaladora, excursionista, panadera, as\u00ed como madre de tres hijos.
