Despu\u00e9s de asistir a la CSU, donde estudi\u00f3 antropolog\u00eda cultural y ecoturismo internacional, pas\u00f3 varios a\u00f1os trabajando local e internacionalmente como gu\u00eda de rafting en aguas bravas y dirigiendo un negocio de fotograf\u00eda independiente.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pepper fue Asistente Cl\u00ednico en CMM antes de ingresar a la escuela de PA en The George Washington University. Comenz\u00f3 a ejercer con el Mayo Clinic Health System en el sur de Minnesota con responsabilidades en Cirug\u00eda General\/Trauma, Otorrinolaringolog\u00eda, Ginecolog\u00eda y Obstetricia, y Urolog\u00eda antes de explorar su pasi\u00f3n por la Medicina de Emergencia como proveedor \u00fanico en uno de los Departamentos de Emergencia de Acceso Cr\u00edtico de Mayo. Despu\u00e9s de 6 a\u00f1os en Minnesota, Pepper regres\u00f3 al Valle para trabajar con Vail Health y CMM en las Cl\u00ednicas de Atenci\u00f3n de Urgencia y (anteriormente) como Coordinador del Programa APP.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pepper Etters es miembro de la Academia de Medicina de Monta\u00f1a (FAWM) y ejerce como asistente m\u00e9dico en medicina de urgencias en Mayo Clinic Health System.  Adem\u00e1s de WFA y BWLS (WFR), imparte entrenamiento avanzado en soporte vital en monta\u00f1a a profesionales m\u00e9dicos.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Habiendo crecido en las monta\u00f1as de Colorado, ha tenido desde hace mucho tiempo una afinidad por las actividades al aire libre. Antes de su carrera m\u00e9dica, trabaj\u00f3 en muchos campos al aire libre, incluyendo la gu\u00eda de escalada en roca\/hielo, esqu\u00ed de traves\u00eda y pesca con mosca. Lo m\u00e1s importante es que trabaj\u00f3 durante 8 a\u00f1os como gu\u00eda de rafting en aguas bravas de clase V, una profesi\u00f3n que lo llev\u00f3 no solo por todo Estados Unidos, sino por todo el mundo, guiando y haciendo kayak de seguridad en India y Chile, y remando en Costa Rica, Ecuador, Per\u00fa, Argentina y Nepal. En uno de sus m\u00faltiples viajes a India, tuvo el privilegio de guiar un primer descenso comercial del r\u00edo Tons.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Algunas de sus experiencias de expedici\u00f3n fuera de aguas bravas incluyen la organizaci\u00f3n de una caminata autosuficiente con apoyo de burros a trav\u00e9s del Altiplano boliviano y el ascenso a cumbres en los Andes y el Himalaya. Tambi\u00e9n organiz\u00f3 y dirigi\u00f3 una expedici\u00f3n m\u00e9dica que estableci\u00f3 la primera cl\u00ednica en el remoto Valle de Rowling, en Nepal.
