UU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Consultor M\u00e9dico de los Rockies de Colorado (MLB)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Tom Hackett es un cirujano ortopedista cuya pr\u00e1ctica se centra en el tratamiento quir\u00fargico y no quir\u00fargico de trastornos del codo, hombro y rodilla. Es especialista en el tratamiento artrosc\u00f3pico de lesiones deportivas y se form\u00f3 directamente bajo la tutela del Dr. Frank Jobe, fundador del procedimiento \u201cTommy John\u201d y uno de los pioneros en cirug\u00eda de hombro y codo para atletas que realizan movimientos por encima de la cabeza (\u201coverhead\u201d). El Dr. Hackett tambi\u00e9n ha completado formaci\u00f3n adicional en el manejo de fracturas y traumatismos musculoesquel\u00e9ticos en el hospital Harbourview en Seattle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Hackett es un ex atleta universitario que obtuvo un t\u00edtulo en antropolog\u00eda de The Colorado College y ha trabajado tanto a nivel local como internacional como arque\u00f3logo, monta\u00f1ista, gu\u00eda y patrullero de esqu\u00ed. Despu\u00e9s de adquirir una amplia experiencia pr\u00e1ctica en medicina y rescate en \u00e1reas remotas, continu\u00f3 sus estudios formales de medicina; inicialmente en la Universidad de Wyoming y posteriormente en la Universidad Creighton, donde obtuvo su t\u00edtulo de m\u00e9dico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Hackett continu\u00f3 completando una pasant\u00eda en cirug\u00eda general y una residencia en cirug\u00eda ortop\u00e9dica en el prestigioso New England Medical Center de Boston en la Universidad de Tufts. Complet\u00f3 una beca de medicina deportiva en la Cl\u00ednica Kerlan-Jobe en Los \u00c1ngeles, donde se especializ\u00f3 en cirug\u00eda de hombro y codo. Mientras estaba en Los \u00c1ngeles, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como m\u00e9dico asistente de los equipos deportivos profesionales LA Lakers, Sparks, Dodgers, Kings, Ducks y Galaxy. Contin\u00faa brindando ayuda en la gesti\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de los LA Dodgers, los Colorado Rockies, y es m\u00e9dico del equipo de snowboard de EE. UU. El Dr. Hackett es doctorado por la Junta Estadounidense de Cirug\u00eda Ortop\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Dr. Hackett ha realizado investigaciones en cirug\u00eda de hombro, codo y rodilla, y ha publicado art\u00edculos en revistas m\u00e9dicas revisadas por pares.
