As a community hospital and with the goal of providing superior health services aligned to the needs of Eagle County residents and visitors, Vail Health is proud to accept Medicare, Medicaid, and Health Insurance Marketplace plans.

Medicaid Enrollment Assistance

Vail Health’s Community Outreach and Enrollment Specialists will work with you for Medicaid screening and enrollment. They will help you from application start to finish! If Medicaid is not available, the Community Outreach team can assist connecting you with other insurance options. The Community Outreach team provides bilingual services to anyone in our valley regardless of documentation status. To get started, please call (970) 422-3039.

Community Outreach & Enrollment FAQ’s

A service provided by Vail Health to help screen the uninsured for Medicaid eligibility and other healthcare funding options. We can also make connections to other resources, such as transportation and food services.

Insurance helps pay for preventative and emergency healthcare, relieving some of the financial stress of being sick or injured so you can focus on recovery and improving your overall long-term health.

If any life circumstance has changed (job status, additions to your family, change in housing or you’re in an emergency healthcare situation), you may be eligible for Medicaid now. We can also help you explore other funding options.

Bring a photo ID (not required, but helpful), two recent pay stubs and proof of residence if applicable (water bill, electric bill, etc).

If you’re undocumented, make an appointment! There may be funding options available for you.
