Sonnenalp Breast Center
Throughout the month of October, patients will receive a special soy candle with presentable two piece box, lip shimmer, women’s calendar and nail files. 

Wear Pink Night
Fall sports games showcasing Battle Mountain High School, Eagle Valley High School, and St. Claire Middle School teams. Vail Health is providing pink ribbon socks for football, volleyball, soccer, softball, and cheer. 

SKEA Limited – Online Retail Promotion                                                                                                                                            
During the month of October, SKEA Limited will be donating 5% of all total online proceeds to Shaw Cancer Center. Check out skealimited.com for more details. Note – Past promotions have donated 20% of sales on pink retail clothing items only. This 5% of all sales is their new approach to increase the donation.  

Eagle River Fire Protection District 
Eagle River Fire fighters will be wearing blue t-shirts with pink ERFPD logo while on shift in the community to support the ladies all month.

Barr fitness studio event in October that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer. Check out  barreforte.com for class availability. 
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Local businesses can help Shaw Cancer Center and the Sonnenalp Breast Center raise awareness around saving lives through early detection. Shaw Cancer Center recommend that all women starting at the age of 40 receive a mammogram every year.
