Some roles may be based outside of our Colorado office (as stated in the Job Title). Roles based outside of our primary office can sit in any of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI. Pay is based upon relevant education and experience.


The Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) with a focus in pediatrics will provide outpatient psychotherapy, parent training, and group programming to Summit and Eagle County families and the community. As a part of the Vail Health system, BHPs at Colorado Mountain Medical have access to support from the integrated behavioral health team, Colorado Mountain Medical psychiatry and medical providers and support staff including a robust scheduling team.

Position may include evening hours. BHPs will work with their direct clinical supervisor to create a schedule that meets patient and community need but also reflects self-care and a healthy work-life balance.

This position may rotate between the various Colorado Mountain Medical locations.

We have clinic locations in Avon, Frisco, Eagle, Edwards, and Vail, Colorado.   • Provide evidence-based treatment to patients and their families at Colorado Mountain Medical ages 0 - 17, flexibility to diversify caseload as desired across the lifespan or with a subpopulation within that age group
  • Complete biopsychosocial intake assessments within 24 hours of intake including tailored treatment plans
  • Complete all progress notes within 48 hours of patient contact
  • Participate in clinic staffings, biweekly clinical supervision, and optional weekly Clinical Skills Labs
  • Collaborate and coordinate care with Colorado Mountain Medical behavioral health staff, medical providers, care coordinators, case managers, school counselors, and community partners to provide wrap around, comprehensive care to patients and their families
  • Utilize trainings and reflective supervision to continue growth as a professional and maintain current education on best practices in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and/or Pediatric Mental Health
  • Maintain knowledge of best practice related to training as well as evolving requirements within the field
  • Maintain active licensure in the state of Colorado
  • Monitor chart compliance and maintain fidelity with all Community Mental Health Center standards



  • Masters, PsyD, or PhD in a mental health field
  • Professional licensure: LP, LPC, LMFT or LCSW required
  • Current Colorado clinical license in good standing
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking, highly preferred
  • Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, preferred
  • Experience working in a medical setting, preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and written skills
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Knowledge of health disparities, substance use and domestic violence issues associated with rural populations
