Zack grew up in North Carolina where he completed his bachelor’s degree in exercise science at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill in 1998. He went from the Appalachian mountains to the Rockies to complete his masters of science in physical therapy degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2003. After beginning his career at Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail, Zack took his wealth of experience and helped start and develop the Outpatient Orthopaedics and Sport Medicine Rehabilitation Department at Stanford University Hospital and Clinics. He was then recruited to work at Stanford University Athletics where he worked with Division I student athletes from 36 athletic teams. Eventually, the calling of the mountains and its contagious culture drew Zack back to Vail and Howard Head where he started his career. His special interests are in manual therapy, return to sport/activity-integration therapy progressions, the running and rock-climbing athletes.
